Kale Magness has been the Worship Leader for Heritage since its inception in 1999. Kale’s desire was to begin a relevant Worship Ministry that would not only appeal to The Church, but also to the un-churched and unbeliever. Music touches us emotionally like nothing else can, where each of us finds common ground. From the beginning, God has poured Himself out upon our Worship Team in a very evident manner that has blessed The Body at Heritage in a special way. The Worship at Heritage carries a liberating sense of freedom that is transparent and authentic. Our goal is to create an environment of Worship that encourages a desire to seek a deeper relationship with God. Kale is very passionate about Worship on an individual and corporate basis and feels that it is the essential part of the relationship between with The Father and a Believer. Kale is joined in this Ministry by his entire family, Connie, David, and Justin. Connie plays keyboards, David plays bass and guitar, and Justin plays the drums.

Through small groups, the hope is that individuals grow closer to one another, strengthen their relationship with God and, in turn, make an impact on the community.

Prior to coming on staff, Matt spent 11 years as a football coach and teacher, both at the collegiate and high school level. In 2010 Matt and Corey started the organization Laces of Grace.
